Rose at Rhondda Heritage Park Open Art Exhibition
Rose won a 'Judges Commendation' at the Rhondda Heritage Park Open Art Exhibition 2014.
I can't believe it is the fifth year I have had artwork displayed at the Rhondda Heritage Park's Open Art exhibition, which has now moved from the summer to the winter.
Rose is in a full Victorian frame. I love doing these large scale full body works although the down side is they take months and months of work.
The competition holds a special place in my heart as it was the first gallery to show my paintings- 'My People' was shown there in 2010 and was bought for £600 by a couple from Edinburgh.
Rose got a judges commendation- the fourth year in a row that my paintings have been commended at the Heritage park.
